Serendipity Park Naturist Homestay an organic one acre property in Northland, close to Uretiti Beach which is clothes-optional on the south end. Relax and read under the shade of the oak trees, beside the pond, or under the willows in the summer, or in front of the fire in the winter. Play petanque or croquet on the back lawn. Enjoy a drink listening to birdsong, and watching the cows stroll by. Evening meal by arrangement. Vegetarians catered for. Breakfast includes home-grown organic preserves or free range eggs in season. TV and Internet in guest room. Movies by arrangement. Situated 7 kms from the Kaipara’s most go-ahead township, Maungaturoto, it is ideally situated as a central point for day trips to Dargaville and Whangarei, and is close to many safe beaches on the Kaipara Harbour, the largest harbour in the southern hemisphere. The Kaipara Harbour abounds in history of the early NZ settlers, and there have been 158 documented shipwrecks on the Pouto Peninsula, some pre-dating European settlement. Owen and Beverley are part of an organised nudist social group which hold regular get-togethers. Take the turn from SH1 into SH12 towards Dargaville at the bottom of the Brynderwyns, and travel 10 kms, going through Maungaturoto. Whakapirau Road is on the left, just before the railyards. Travel 5.6kms. |
