How to find us
From Auckland (approximately 2 hours from Auckland Harbour Bridge):
Take the turn (West) from SH1 into SH12 towards Dargaville at the start (Southern end) of the Brynderwyns, and travel West 10 kms, going through Maungaturoto. Whakapirau Road is on the left, just before the railyards. Travel 5.8 kms.
From Whangarei (approximately 1 hour):
Travel South, past Waipu, then over the Brynderwyns. At the southern end, turn West (right) into SH12 towards Dargaville, and travel 10 kms, going through Maungaturoto. Whakapirau Road is on the left, just before the railyards. Travel 5.8 kms.
From Dargaville (approximately 50 minutes):
Travel East, continuing on SH12, through Ruawai and Paparoa. Approx. 8 kms on from Paparoa, you will pass railyards on your right. (Maungaturoto township is 2 kms further on.) The next road on your right is Whakapirau Road. Travel 5.8 kms.
